East Meets West helps people in Vietnam get medical help, especially in emergency situations. Too often, poor people suffer because they can't afford basic medical care. What could have been a lifetime disability doesn't have to be. Land mines left over from the war continue to injure people in the countryside. East Meets West assists in the costs for surgery, prosthetics and rehabilitation. We also help burn victims, mostly due to household accidents.
